At A Glance
Program Offerings

  • Types of Aircraft (Preschool & Kindergarten): A 90-minute outdoor walking tour exploring helicopters, airplanes, and jets. ($8.00/student, $8.00/adult; 1 adult required per 5 children).

  • Wind Wagons to Rockets Tour (Grades 1–12): A 2-hour exploration of aviation history and The Glenn L. Martin Company, featuring museum galleries and the outdoor flight line. ($10.00/student, $10.00/adult).

  • Airport Careers Tour (Grades 2–8): A 2-hour program featuring a walking tour to the Martin State Airport Fixed Base Operations building, career discussions, and museum exploration. ($10.00/student, $10.00/adult).

  • It’s Rocket Science Workshop (Grades 3–6): A 3-hour workshop featuring rocketry presentations, paper rocket launches and design refinements, plus museum and flight line tours. ($15.00/student, $10.00/adult).

  • Aviation Workshop (Grades 3–12): A 3-hour session covering the forces of flight, glider testing, and ground communication, complete with museum and flight line tours. ($15.00/student, $10.00/adult).

  • B-26 Assembly Team Workshop (Grades 6–12): A 2-hour interactive session where students teamwork-assemble a large-scale B-26 Marauder model and sit in the cockpit. ($10.00/student, $10.00/adult).

  • Robotics (Grades 3–12): A 2-hour STEM-focused workshop bringing coding to life using Edison programmable rover robots to explore robots in space. ($20.00/student, $10.00/adult).

Supplementary Experiences

  • Flight Line Tour: Dive deeper into the 20 on-display aircraft and their historical evolution.

  • Ground Signals & Communication Workshop: Learn pilot communication, control tower talk, and ground control marshaling.

  • Important Booking Details: All programs require a minimum of 10 participants (excluding adults). Adult admission is $8.00 for Preschool & Kindergarten programs and $10.00 for all other programs.
