BIRTHDAY PARTY INFORMATION 2019


 

Thank you for your interest in hosting a birthday party at the Glenn L. Martin MD Aviation Museum.   

 

The birthday party celebration is for children ages 9 and up with activities that are age-appropriate.  Younger children should be accompanied by an adult chaperone.. The fee is $300.00, which includes the following –

 

  • 12 children and 24 adults.  Additional children are $12.00 each and additional adults are $5.00 each.

 

  • Use of the room for 3 hours, which includes 30 minutes for set-up prior to the party starting time. The room is available any day of the week – Sunday to Saturday - but only after 3:30 pm on Wednesday.  

 

  • Tables, chairs, table coverings - Does not include paper goods, cake, food or drinks, etc.

(60 minutes for set-up and celebration)

 

  • Tour of the gallery (20 minutes)

 

  • Tour of the museum (20 minutes)

 

  • Discussion and demonstration about the forces of flight (15 minutes)

 

  • Activity on assembling and launching paper rockets (20 minutes)

 

  • Safety Briefing and Tour of  flight line –carpooling necessary (45 minutes)

 

  • Glenn L Martin Coloring book for each child

 

The schedule is flexible and can be organized according to your needs, weather permitting.

 

Special request:  

  • One actively chaperoning adult for every 6 children

  • No helium balloons

  • No red juice

 

A deposit of $100.00 is required to secure the date.
