Aircraft Design Kit
A family activity for the aviator in all of us or the perfect gift for your aspiring STEM student to learn about some of the basic aircraft designs. The Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum has assembled a box of materials for purchase containing:

Five metal In Air Diecast model aircraft (approximately 3.5” X 4.5”) - Wright 1903 Flyer, Curtiss Jenny, A-10 Thunderbolt II, SR-71 Blackbird, AH-64 Apache Helicopter - to introduce children (grades three and up) to some of the basic designs – biplanes, tail draggers, tricycle landing gear, jets, and helicopters.

An optional evaluation form, which will entitle you to a free visit to the museum for a family of four.
The cost of the design box is $45.00, which includes shipping and handling via USPS. (Please note: You may save $15.00 - the cost of shipping - by visiting the museum to purchase the box.)
