Something for everyone

This year, the Museum has compressed the schedule for its Monday Speaker Series. The first talk will be in April.

Prominent speakers cover a wide range of aviation and space topics of broad interest.
The meetings, which begin at 7 p.m., are FREE and open to the public. You must present a photo ID. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Speakers for 2016

April 4: Essex native and veteran astronaut Tom Jones will talk about his latest book, Ask the Astronaut.
May 2: Author and former Air Force pilot Darrel Whitcomb will talk about his experiences in Vietnam. The talk will kick off the Museum’s participation in Maryland Public Television’s LZMaryand, which honors Vietnam veterans.
June 5: A panel will talk about the Huey helicopter, focusing on the Museum’s aircraft, which is scheduled to take part in LZMaryland
